11/15 Friday– More good reports

We heard more good reports Thursday locally. Almost everything we’re hearing at the moment has been Seaside Park North but we did have some anglers come in and report some fat schoolies from IBSP right before dark. It really depends on who you talk to. Some are doing well and some aren’t doing anything. The big body of bass and bait is right off Monmouth beach but there’s fish trickling into our area now.. The one thing we can say for certain is everything is on artificials. Here’s a list of some of the top hitters right now. SP Minnows, AVA’s, T-Hex’s, Tsunami Eels, Bill Hurley Eels, CCW Swimmers, Scabelly Gliders, Storm/Tsunami/Hogy shads. Teasers are optional but have been very effective.. Haven’t heard anything on bait the past few days but that could change. Fridays weather looks great. Sunshine and clouds mixed. High 53F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph.

We got in more stuff Thursday. A bunch of StormR gear arrived. Gloves, Hats, Socks, and Jackets. We also received more of our Grumpy Sandstorm Factory Surf Rods. Perfect rod for the fall and priced at $179.99!
9′-0″ Rod with a 3/4-3oz rating!

11/14 Thursday

Not many people out again with the colder temps but we did hear of more bass locally. Nick Honachefsky landed and released a beautiful 34″ Bass in the evening on a bomber. Few of our regulars came in right after sunset and reported some schoolies on tsunami eels. More and more reports coming in from Monmouth beach of Bass. There’s fish around here though just have to work for them. Weather for Thursday looks much better and warmer….Sunshine and clouds mixed. High 51F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.

We got in more Scabelly Gliders Wednesday. Still a lot of good colors available but you know the drill they wont last.

11/13 Wednesday— Not many anglers but there was fish..

The weather held most back but the anglers that went out did catch fish and some did really well. Both Monmouth and Ocean County beaches are holding fish. Work the beaches and throw the stuff we’ve been saying for weeks. Skinny metals w/ teaser, SP’s, Tsunami and Bill Hurley Eels, and even Small metal Lips. There’s been reports of lots of peanut bunker up north so that’s where the metal lips have been producing. We also got more reports of sandeels locally. Gonna be cold Wednesday so dress warm. NW winds for Wednesday.

11/12 Tuesday– Good reports from the north

Much better reports from the northern beaches Monday evening. Our own Sean is on a hot streak. He landed 9 bass locally nothing over 26″ but had action. He mentioned a very slow retrieve with a SP was the ticket. The Belmar north bite Monday was very good on little swimmers. Hopefully those fish make it our way soon. Tuesday theres some weather coming but I wouldn’t be surprised to hear some things. We have plenty of Fresh Bunker and Fresh Shucked Clams.

11/11 Happy Veterans Day!

Fishing Report— Slow pick along the beach Sunday. There’s bass around though. We talked to several anglers throughout the day that had decent numbers but most are still struggling. Skinny Metals and Plugs with a teaser are the way to go. Weather for Monday looks great. We got loaded up with Fresh Bunker and Fresh Shucked Clams Sunday night. Hope everyone has a great day Monday. Go take a Vet fishing! We’re here normal hours for you. 430am-10pm!

11/10 Sunday

Slow pick during the morning but as the day went on we did get better reports from the surf. Especially in the dark again. Almost everything reported was on Sandeel Imitation lures. AVA’s, AOK Thex’s, SP’s, SuperStrike Needlefish, Tsunami Eels. Any of these lures put on a teaser rig was working. All the bass we heard of were in the 20-26″ range. We also had reports of peanut bunker in the wash in certain spots. Still waiting for this Fall to really take off but there is some activity around. Sunday’s weather……Partly Cloudy. High 57. Winds SW 10-15mph.
We have plenty of Fresh Bunker, Fresh Shucked Clams, Green Crabs, and Mullet.

11/8 Friday

Basically the same report as yesterday. Pick of bass along the beach on artificials. Anything that will imitate a sandeel is the way to go. Our very own Sean go into them right before dark in the seaside area on SP’s. You know the drill! Put your time in this time of the year. We can go from 0-60 pretty darn quick. If you want to bait fish we have Plenty of Fresh Bunker and we’ll be picking up some Fresh Shucked Surf Clams Friday. Weather is looking very nice the next few days. Here’s Fridays forecast…. Sunny. High 46. Winds NW 10-20mph. Good wind and the cooler weather is here.

Lots of orders arrived Thursday. Guy Cotton Foul Weather Gear, StormR Gear, Daiwa Reels and Rods, Sportfish AVA’s, Kettle Creek Shads, Tica Rods, and more! Fully stocked for the season. Open 430am-10pm EVERYDAY!

11/7 Thursday

Tons of Bunker in the area Wednesday problem was there wasn’t many fish in them. Other than the load of bait around we did get more reports of smaller bass in the morning hours and a few in the evening. Same thing as yesterday. Work the beaches and throw skinny metals, smaller plugs, or eel plastics. We’re still waiting for this thing to kick up another notch but there is fish around. Thursdays weather…. Partly cloudy skies in the morning will give way to cloudy skies during the afternoon. High 62F. Winds SW at 10 to 20 mph. We got in a fresh load of Bunker Wednesday evening. Working on getting some Fresh Shucked Clams for Thursday.

11/6 Wednesday

Decent reports in the early morning and evening hours again. Our very own Sean got into them before dark on SP’s and Gliders. He had 8 fish nothing bigger than 26″. There was a lot of bait around Tuesday. Peanut Bunker, Sandeels, Anchovies, and Adult Bunker. The stage is set. There’s fish around you just have to work the beaches. I expect things to only get better going forward. We picked up a cooler full of Fresh Bunker Tuesday night if you want to chunk. Cooler weather is ahead and it’s exactly what we need! Wednesday weather looks fantastic. Sunny. High 56. Winds WNW 10-15mph.

11/5 Tuesday— Good reports but better at night…

Good reports in the dark again and we did have a couple solid reports come in during the day but fishing in the dark is your best bet right now. We’ll see if that changes but these fish are feeding on sandeels so fish anything that will imitate that. AVA’s, AOK Metals, Deadly Dicks, SP’s, Midways, JB Swarters, Tsunami Sandeels, Bill Hurleys. Make sure you have a sandeel teaser above. If you need them we have them. Another thing I wanted to mention is if you’re not catching move! Stay mobile if possible. These fish are scattered up and down and there really hasn’t been a “Hot” Spot. The guys that are moving are the ones doing the best right now. Tuesdays weather…. Cloudy. Chance of some showers. High 62. Winds SW 10-15mph.
