Saturday 5/23

Pretty decent fluking along the beach Friday. We had 3 hit the scale. Everything has been on Gulp and Bucktails. Don’t forget you can keep 2 fish at 16″ or greater fishing IBSP shore. There’s still some monster Blues in the bay. Got reports from a few kids that fished the local docks with bunker chunks. Few cocktail blues were reported off the surf as well but the conditions went down hill as we got into the evening hours. We’ll see what happens Saturday. We have plenty of Fresh Bunker and Fresh Clams.

Friday 6/22

We got reports of some small bass on artificials Thursday morning. Nothing crazy but a few were caught. We also have some cocktail blues along the beach eating small artificials and bait. Fluking along the beach was ok Thursday. Water temps are warming fast! Should see some good shark life very soon. Did have a hound fish reported off the surf so that tells you how warm the water is getting. More orders arrived! We got a mess of Accurate reels. We added in the Silver and Blue Valiant’s which are absolutely beautiful. We also got in boxes of Spro Bucktails and more Yo-Zuri products including the NEW Yellow, Blurple, and Chicken Scratch colors! Come check them out. Plenty of FRESH CLAMS and FRESH BUNKER! Open 430am-10pm EVERYDAY!

Thursday 6/21

Not a ton of anglers out. We heard of some decent Fluke fishing along the beach. Kenny Hollins weighed in a nice keeper and also lost a really nice one right in the wash. Walk the beach and throw Bucktails and Gulp. Make sure you put a Gulp Teaser above your Bucktail. Nothing to report on the bass. Did hear a few things on the bluefish especially on bunker chunks. Sharking along the beach should start to pick up with the increasing water temps. Crabbing in the bay is getting better. Some nice keepers were reported on the local docks. We had a few big orders arrive the past couple weeks. Everything from Rods to Reels to custom plugs. To much stuff to list. We’ve expanded inventory the past 3 months and that will continue as we get into the fall months. Open 430am-10pm EVERYDAY!

6/19 Tuesday

We had a BIG Bass hit the scale Monday. Terry Mcquad weighed in a beautiful 42″ 31.10 LB Bass that took a Grumpy Bunker off the surf. There’s still some nice bass in the area. Heard of a few more caught in the morning hours. We also have some Bluefish on the surf eating Bunker chunks. Fluking along the beach is pretty good as well. Crabbing in the bay is OK. Lots of small ones. We have Plenty of Fresh Bunker and Fresh Clams!

6/16 Saturday

Didn’t hear much Friday. Sent a decent amount of guys out especially in the evening hours. Few Bluefish reported on bait. Did hear more on Fluke along the beach. Water temps are still pretty good. Crabbing in the bay is picking up each day. The whole weekend looks phenomenal weather wise. Hopefully we hear some things. We got in over 20 bushels of FRESH in the SHELL CLAMS and FRESH BUNKER! We’ll be loaded up for the nice weekend. Scabelly Custom Lures dropped off some of his HOT Gliders. Already sold a bunch and they won’t last long! Come check them out. Open 430am-10pm EVERYDAY!

6/15 Friday

About the same report as yesterday. Some guys got into them especially on bait. Hearing of a few really nice size bass still in the area. Heard more chatter on the Fluke along the beach. Most of the fluke are right in front of you! You don’t need to cast far. Bucktails and Gulp is all you need. Have a few guys targeting the sharks at night. Nothing great yet but there’s a few small sand tigers around. Crabbing in the bay is picking up. Fridays weather looks fantastic! Sunny along with a few clouds. High around 75F. NW winds shifting to ENE at 10 to 15 mph. We have plenty of FRESH BUNKER and FRESH CLAMS.

6/14 Thursday

Didn’t send out a ton of anglers out Wednesday. We heard of more Bluefish and a couple really impressive bass that were landed and released. One angler told me he did really well with assorted size blues on SP Minnows off the surf but bait is still the way to go. Heard of a few Fluke in the wash too. We got loaded up with bait Wednesday night. Plenty of FRESH CLAMS and FRESH BUNKER! Open 430am-10pm EVERYDAY!

6/13 Wednesday

Improved fishing Tuesday. Nothing crazy but a nice steady pick of Bluefish and a few Bass. One of our regulars caught a 36″ Bass on bait that he released. Heard of several “just keeper size” bass reported as well. Heard of decent bluefish action down in the park in the evening hours on Bunker chunks. Not a ton of guys out but the guys that fished caught a few. Wednesday weather…Overcast. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High around 80F. Winds S at 10 to 15 mph.

6/12 Tuesday

Didn’t hear much Monday. Conditions were not the greatest especially in the morning hours. Sent a decent amount of guys out in the evening but all I heard of was a few small bass and blues on bait. We’ll see if the conditions improve Tuesday! Tuesdays weather….Mostly sunny skies. High 71F. Winds SE at 10 to 15 mph.

6/10 Sunday

Slower day overall. We had one nice bass weighed in and one bluefish. Heard of a few others caught. Fluking wasn’t bad though. Hearing of a decent pick in the wash. The encouraging news is the Shark life that’s appearing in the evening hours. Few small sand tigers have been caught and couple mystery run-offs at night. It’s still early but it’s nice to see them. Lets hope it’s a sign of things to come! Crabbing is picking up. Few of the locals have reported some nice catches. Not enough to fill a bushel but enough for dinner! We have Fresh Clams and Fresh Bunker in stock!
